TamilNadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) is a Statutory body constituted by the Government of Tamil Nadu in accordance with the provisions of Electricity Act, 2003 and is located at chennai. It is vested with powers to determine the eletricity tariff, regulate electricity purchase and procurement process, issuing liecences, facilitate intra-state transmission and wheeling, promote cogeneration, specify State Grid code, specify or enforce standards of performance and adjudicate upon disputes. The Commission shall be guidede by the National Electricity Policy, National Electricity plan and Traiff Policy published under Section 3(2) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

The Commission desires to fill up one post of Office Assistant Cum Driver and Four post of Office Assistants on a regular basis. The qualification, experience, age and Scale of pay are given below;

1. Name of Post: Office Assistant Cum Driver

No.of Vacanices: 1

Salary: Rs.15,700 – 50,000 /-

Qualification:

Should have passed 8th Standard from a recognized Shool with Tamil as one Language as per Tamil Nadu Basic Service Rules, 2007 dated: 31.05.2007
License for driving Light Motor Vehicles (LMV)
Should have good physique and know cycling.

Age: The Candidate must not have Completed 30 years of age on the date on appointment.

Note:

preference will be given to the candidates who are having only the above mentioned prescribed qualifications.
As the Commission is headquartered in Chennai, this post cannot be transferable.
Relaxation in age limit will be as per rules of the TamilNadu basic Service Rules, 2007, dated: 31.05.2007
