Chennai City Urban Health Mission Greater Chennai Corporation Recruitment 2025

The Chennai City Urban Health Mission Proposes to engage following staff to work in Urban Health & Wellness centre of Greater Chennai Corporation under National Urban Health Mission on Contractual basis. The details of vacancies and Minimum educational qualification are given below.

1. Name of the Post: Medical Officer

No.of Post Vacancies: 60

Scale of Pay: Rs. 60000

Age Limit: Below 40 years.

Educational Qualification: MBBS Degree awarded by a University or Institution recognized by the UGC for the Purpose of its grants. The Courses must have been approved by the Medical Council of India / NMC. Should have registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council.

2. Name of the Post: Staff Nurse

No.of Post Vacancies: 60

Scale of Pay: Rs. 18000

Age Limit: Below 50 years.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc Nursing from the Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

3. Name of the Post: MPHW/Multi Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade – II) Male

No.of Post Vacancies: 60

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000

Age Limit: Below 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

Must have passed +2 with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
Must have passed Tamil Language as a subject in SSLC level.
Must possess two years Multipurpose Health Worker (male) / Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Course training / Offered by recognized private institution / Trust / Universities / Deemed Universities including Gandhigram Rural Institute Training Course Certificate granted by the Director of Public Health preventive medicine.

4. Name of the Post: Support Staff

No.of Post Vacancies: 60

Scale of Pay: Rs. 8500 /-

Age Limit: Below 45 years.

Educational Qualification: Should have studied minimum 8th Standard. Must be able to read and write.

5. Name of the Post: Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM)

No.of Post Vacancies: 88

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14000 /-

Age Limit: Below 45 years.

Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary Course with 2 years ANM Course (Registration with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council) from Govt. Recognized Institution

6. Name of the Post: X – Ray Technician

No.of Post Vacancies: 6

Scale of Pay: Rs. 13300 /-

Age Limit: Below 45 years.

Educational Qualification: X-Ray Technician (2 years Course) undergone in any institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

7. Name of the Post: Special Educator for Behavioural Therapy

No.of Post Vacancies: 03

Scale of Pay: Rs. 23000 /-

Age Limit: Should not be over 40 years.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Special Education in Intellectual Disability from a UGC – recognized University. The individual must have a current, valid RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration number.

8. Name of the Post: Occupational Therapists

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university.

Educational Qualification:

Post Graduate Diploma in Genetic Diagnosis Technology / Cytogenetics.
Degree in Biotechnology / Human Genetics / Molecular Biology / Medical Laboratory Technician.

11. Name of the Post: Lab – Store Assistant

No.of Post Vacancies: 01

Scale of Pay: Rs. 12000 /-

Age Limit: Should not be over 40 years.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician.
