SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 Notification

1. Name of the Post: Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
Salary: Pay Level – 2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,600 /-)
Age Limit: 18 – 27 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST ; 3 years for OBC; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidate’s Relaxation in the Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Note: Candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination can also apply, however, they must possess Essential qualifications on or before the cutoff date i.e. 01.08.2023.

Salary: Pay Level – 4 (Rs. 25,000 – 81,100 /-)
Age Limit: 18 – 27 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST ; 3 years for OBC; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidate’s Relaxation in the Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Selection Process in SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023

SSC may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Tier-I (Computer-Based Examination)
Tier-II (Computer-Based Examination)
Document Verification (DV)

Exam Centers in Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore.

Application Fee / Exam Fee for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023

Fee payable: Rs.100/- (One Hundred Only)
Women Candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM), eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fees.
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Rupay Credit or Debit Cards or in Cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

Candidates can pay online fees up to 10.06.2023 (23:00 hours). However, candidates who wish to make a cash payment through the challan of SBI may make payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 12.06.2023 provided the challan has been generated by them before 11.06.2023 (23:00 hours).

Candidates fulfilling all the above criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the SSC website in the careers webpage under Current Openings Section. i.e. www.ssc.nic.in from 03.04.2023 to 03.05.2023 (23:00). No other mode of application will be accepted.
