2. Name of Post: Constable (Exe) -Male (Ex-Servicemen (Others) (Including backlog SC- and ST)

No.of Post Vacancies: 266 (SC-48, ST-23, OBC-15, EWS-27, UR-153)

3. Name of Post: Constable (Exe) -Male (Ex-Servicemen [Commando (Para-3.1)] (Including backlog SC- and ST)

4. Name of Post: Constable (Exe) -Female

No.of Post Vacancies: 2491 (SC-429, ST-150, OBC-142, EWS-268, UR-1502)

Salary : Rs. Pay Level – 3 ( Rs. 21,700 – 69,100)

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.07.1998 and later than 01.07.2005.

Age Relaxation: The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST; 3 years for OBC; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidate’s Relaxation in the Upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SSC official notification 2023 for more reference.

Education Qualification:

(Senior Secondary) Passed from a recognized Board. Educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th passed for the: sons / daughters of serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police Personnel / Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police Personnel / Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, and Bandsmen, Buglers, Mounted Constables, Drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police only.
Male Candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor Cycle or Car) as on the date of PE & MT. Learner License is not acceptable.

Exam Centre in TamilNadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli & Tirunelveli, Vellore & Puducherry.

Application Fee / Exam Fee for SSC Constable Recruitment 2023

Fee payable: Rs. 100 /- (Rs One Hundred Only).
Women Candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark disabilities (PWD), and EX-SM eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
Fee can be paid only through online payment Modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or Rupay Credit or Debit card.
Fee can Paid by the candidates up to 30-09-2023 (23.00 Hours) through online mode only. there will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.

Candidates fulfilling all the above clearly laid down criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the SSC website in the careers webpage under the current opening section. i.e. www.ssc.nic.in from 01.09.2023 to 30.09.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.
