1. Name of Post: Junior Engineer (Civil) Border Roads Organization (BRO) (For Male Candidates only)

No.of Post Vacancies: 431 (UR-175, OBC-116, SC-65, ST-32, EWS-43)

Salary: Rs. 35,000 – 1,12,400 /- (pay matrix of 7th Central pay Commission)

Age Limit: Upto 30 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST; 3 years for OBC; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Education Qualification:

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute; (OR)

Staff Selection Commission may Follow the following process to select the candidates.

Computer-Based Examination (Paper-I & Paper-II)

Document Verification (DV)

Exam Center in TamilNadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli & Vellore.

Application Fee / Exam Fee for SSC JE Recruitment 2023

Fee payable: Rs. 250 /- Women Candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark disabilities (PWD), and EX-SM eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
Fee can be paid only through online payment Modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or Rupay Credit or Debit card.
