Educational Qualification:

1. Must Possess Minimum General Educational Qualification.

2. Must have passed the Government Technical Examiantion in Typewriting; by Higher or Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) by Higher or Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower / Junior Grade in English (or) by Higher or Senior Grade in English and Lowe / Junior Grade in Tamil.

3. A pass in Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation Conducted by the DTE, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

Note:

1. Applicants who possess a Graduate (or) Diploma in Computer Science (or) Computer Application (or) Computer Information System (or) Computer Design approved by the University Grants Commission / All Indi Council for Technical Education (or) an equivalent body shall not be required to acquire the Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation.

2. Applicants who do not possess Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation Conducted by the DTE, Govt. of Tamil Nadu may also apply. If Selected, they Should acquire such Education qualification within the period of their probation or within 02 years from the date of appointment to the post, as the case may be.

Age Limit: (As on 01.07.2024)

1. Typist – The Candidates should have Completed the age of 18 years and should not have completed 32 years.

Age Relaxation: The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST; 3 years for OBC; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST PWDs & 12 years for OBC PWDs) and 18 years for Ex-SM; for 5 years Destitute Widow as per Govt. of India rules.
