Staff Selection Commission Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Job Notification 2023

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for Direct Recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group B’, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) in Various Ministries / Departments / Organizations including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in Various states and Union Territories. (SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2023) Only those Candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply. Tentative Vacancies are as follows:

SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2023

1. Name of Post: Stenographer Grade ‘C’

No.of Post Vacancies: 93 (SC-13, ST-3, OBC-22, EWS-6, UR-49)

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years. i.e. Candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation: The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST; 3 years for OBC; 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidate’s Relaxation in the Upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SSC official notification 2023 for more reference.

Education Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

2. Name of Post: Stenographer Grade ‘D’

No.of Post Vacancies: 1114 (SC-165, ST-88, OBC-272, EWS-90, UR-499)

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years. i.e. Candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.

Education Qualification:

Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Application Fee / Exam Fee for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2023

Fee payable: Rs. 100 /- (Rs One Hundred Only) Women Candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark disabilities (PWD), and EX-SM eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

Fee can be paid only through online payment Modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or Rupay Credit or Debit card.

Candidates fulfilling all the above clearly laid down criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the SSC website in the careers webpage under the current opening section. i.e. www.ssc.nic.in from 02.08.2023 to 23.08.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted.
