1. Name of the Post : Inspector (Architect)

No.of Vacancies : 01 (UR)

Salary Details : Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400

Age Limit : Below 30 Years. The Upper age Limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST ; 3 years for OBC ; 10 years for persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST / PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-SM as per Govt.of India rules.

Educational Qualification:

Degree in architecture from a recognized University or Institution.
Registered with Council of Architecture under Architects Act 1972.

2. Name of the Post : Sub Inspector (Works)

No.of Vacancies : 57 (UR-24, OBC-16, SC -08, ST-04, EWS-05)

Salary Details : Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400

Age Limit : Not Exceeding 30 Years. The Upper age Limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST ; 3 years for OBC ; 10 years for persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST / PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-SM as per Govt.of India rules.

Educational Qualification:

Pass Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments.

3. Name of the Post : Junior Engineer / Sub Inspector (Electrical)

No.of Vacancies : 32 (UR-16, OBC-4, SC -05, ST -03, EWS-04)

Salary Details : Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400

Age Limit : 30 Years. The Upper age Limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST ; 3 years for OBC ; 10 years for persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC / ST / PWDs & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-SM as per Govt.of India rules.

Educational Qualification:

Pass Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments.

Selection Process : –

BSF may Follow the following process to select the Candidates.

Written Exam (Paper I & Paper II)
Phase II (Documentation, Physical Standards Test (PST), & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Application Fee / Exam Fee :

Candidates to Pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) as examination fee through following payment modes :-
Net banking of any bank.

Credit / Debit Card of any bank.
Nearest authorised Common Service Centre.

Note : –

Female Candidates of all Categories and Candidates belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), BSF Serving Personnel and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Payment of examination will be accepted only through online mode.
Fee Once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

In case of non-receipt of examination fee from the Candidates of non-exempted Categories, their form will not be accepted.
