Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Assistant Officer posts in National Thermal Power Corporation Limited(ntpc vacancy). Here are the details.

Name of Post: Assitant Officer (Environment Management)

Place of Posting: Anywhere in India

Salary Details: Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000 /-

Education Qualification: Graduate Engineering Degree in Environment with at least 60% Marks (OR) Graduate with at least 60% marks will full-time PG Degree / PG Diploma / M.Sc / M.Tech. in Environment Engineering / Environment Science / Environmental Management with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution.

Selection Process :

In order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for an interview, If so required, the Management reserves the right to conduct an online Screening / Shortlisting / Selection test and/or to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria, as per requirement.
In the case of a selection test, the final selection shall be based on 85% Weightage of online written test marks and 15% weightage of interview marks.

However, candidates must qualify separately in an online written test that will have two parts i.e Subject knowledge Test (SKT) and Executive aptitude Test (EAT), Separately.
Candidates are required to indicate their Choice for test Centres at the time of online application. NTPC reserves the right to change the test centers depending upon the response/feasibility.

Applications Fee / Exam Fee :

Candidate belonging to the General / EWS / OBC / Category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.300/-. The SC / ST / PWD / EX-SM Category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee.
The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.

Payment in offline mode :

State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened Account (A/C No. 30987919993) at the CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC.
The candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with is available on the application registration portal. The pay-in-slip printed from the portal should only be used for depositing the fee for proper crediting of the amount in the allocated account.
On receipt of the money, the bank will issue a unique journal number and the branch code are to be filled p by the Candidate during online registration. NPTC Will is not responsible, in case of a candidate deposits the fee in the wrong account.

Payment in online mode :

Candidates also have the option to pay the fees online (through Net banking / Debit Card [Rupay Debit cards Only] / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available on the website.
The Candidate is required to make the payment before processing for online application. the Challan number, Bank Reference No., date of payment, etc., are required to be filled up in the online application.
